Today, the most common frankincense benefits include: Reduces inflammation. Cancer-fighting properties Spiritual awareness. Boosts immunity. Fights infections. Improves anxiety. Heals skin and reduces acne and scarring. Natural Treatment of Cancer with Frankincense Oil. People who have added Boswellia serrata capsules and essential oils into their natural health cancer care plan may find themselves experiencing double-benefits from this amazing essential oil. For many cancer patients, there’s a time when the treatment becomes worse than the cancer itself. It is as this point that quality of life and symptom suppression is the focal point for many diagnosed with this deadly disease. Debilitating in-and-of itself, often the cancer treatment side effects can make having cancer absolutely miserable. Take, for instance, brain cancer patients who experience cerebral edema (swelling in the head) after having their tumors irradiated. Typically, these people are treated with dexamethasone and other corticosteroids to control the swelling, but this is done at a great cost because the deadly complications of steroids are limitless. Unfortunately, these people suffer toxic overload from the drugs that are supposed to help them in the first place and get headaches, migraines, and may even deal with blurred vision because of the steroid treatments. Thankfully, frankincense offers a natural, viable solution to this horrible issue. Back in 2011, the journal Cancer published the results of a 44 person clinical trial evaluating how brain swelling was effected by frankincense. Astoundingly, 60 percent of the patients displayed 75 percent reduction or greater in cerebral swelling after being treated with 4,200 milligrams per day of frankincense. ( APPROX 3 DROPS UNDER THE TONGUE)These results are so significant that scientists are urging the medical community to consider prescribing this potent essential oil instead of steroids for cancer patients assigned to radiation treatment.. We hope this spreads like wildfire within cancer treatment circles. Who knows what could happen if more people utilized this frankincense oil as a cancer natural treatment approach.

The presence of artabsin and absinthin in Wormwood oil are responsible for the bitter taste, which acts as a stimulant in enlivening the taste buds and improving the secretion of saliva and perking up the natural appetite of an individual. It promotes proper discharge of bile secretion from the liver to the stomach and effectively counterbalances the excess acid substance while assisting the complete process of metabolism. All these healing properties of Wormwood essential oil make it a promising remedy in the treatment of acidosis, ulcer, liver and gall bladder problems and numerous other digestive disorders. 3. Wormwood essential oil has a natural narcotic effect that helps in calming your nerves and grants complete relaxation by pacifying the entire system. A well-known research on ‘The Debate About Wormwood and Thujone Psycho-activity‘ proved that the presence of α-thujone (alpha thujone) and β-thujone (beta thujone) in Artemisia absinthium are responsible for Psycho-activity and the higher-potency α-thujone is considered as the primary psychoactive agent. Adding 2 drops of Wormwood essential oil to a tissue and placing it near your pillow can give you great relief for a peaceful night’s sleep. 4. Balsam/Fir Botanical Name: Abies balsamea / Myroxylon pereirae Main Constituents: α,β-pinene: 45.77% l-bornyl acetate: 3.63% Plant Part: Needles Processing Method: Steam Distilled Balsam Essential Oil The first time I encountered Peru Balsam during my aromatherapy studies, I immediately recognized the aroma as one that was prevalent in a wound care product that summer camp used on me when I was a child. The aroma certainly brought me back in time. Aromatically, Peru Balsam has a mild but deep, rich aroma that is woody yet sweet with a vanilla and benzoin quality. It also possesses a very subtle hint of cinnamon. Balsam contains constituents that are present in Benzoin and Cinnamon Essential Oil, so that is likely why. Topically, Peru Balsam has been used over the years to help remedy a number of skin issues including dry skin, and minor cuts and wounds. That could possibly lead a number of people to use it without proper precaution or without properly diluting it first. Proper dilution and doing a skin patch test is strongly recommended. Balsam Oil may cause possible sensitization in some individuals. Based on the information I've read from various sources, I recommend avoiding it for any topical use unless diluted 1 drop to 1 oz. carrier.. Emotionally, Balsam Oil is soothing and is nice to diffuse in a candle diffuser. It's very thick, so be careful if trying to diffuse it in a nebulizer. Although Balsam is soothing and can help during times of stress, it can act as a stimulant. Can this Oil be used for Animals? Yes. Have your animals smell it directly from the bottle or place a drop or two in your palm, then smell. Or place a drop in your palm and pet head to toe. As I mentioned during the introduction I use many professionally made blends that contain Balsam Fir. Transformation and Believe are very good for emotional release for animals (and people!). Note about Animal Use: Certain oils can be very toxic to cats. Citrus and pine products and oils in particular. Please consult your vet if you are not sure about applying any essential oil to your pet. What are the Safety Precautions? First, only use therapeutic grade essential oils when wanting results! Could result in skin irritation (dilution is recommended). Avoid sunlight for 3 to 6 hours after use. Did you know that the Bible mentions fir 21 times? Thirteen times as a tree and eight times as lumber! Sorry, the Bible didn't mention which fir tree! Diffuse all year long for a pleasant holiday scent! Antiseptic: When it comes to preventing infection, essential oils have been turned to for thousands of years, and fir needle essential oil is no exception. Thanks to its high concentration of antiseptic organic compounds that stimulate the immune system and prevent dangerous infections, fir needle essential oil can be a powerful tool that keeps your body health inside and out.Pain Reliever: The soothing nature of fir needle essential oil makes it ideal for soothing pain and relaxing aching muscles. The stimulating nature of the oil can bring blood to the surface of the skin, flushing out toxins and increasing the rate of healing and recovery so your pain fades away and your body gets even stronger in the process. Detoxify the Body: Some of the organic compounds and active oils within fir needle essential oil actually stimulate the body to flush itself clean. This tonic quality of this popular oil makes it great for people on health cleanses or who are simply looking to eliminate a few extra toxins from their system. It can induce sweating, which can push additional toxins from the body, but it also kicks the liver into higher gear, cleansing numerous systems of the body.Respiratory Function: Although some essential oils can be dangerous when inhaled, the aromatherapeutic qualities of fir needle essential oil are well known. Thispowerful essential oil is used in aromatherapy for the improvement of respiratory conditions. It can induce coughing to loosen and release mucous from your membranes, and can also act as an anti-inflammatory agent in the throat and bronchial tubes. Do not ingest the oil.Increased Metabolism: There are many factors that affect our metabolism, but fir needle essential oil can act as a general body stimulant, kicking our body into overdrive and increasing everything from our digestive rate to our heart rate. It gives us a boost of energy when we need it and can carry us into a more active lifestyle simply by cranking our internal engine up a few notches.Body Odor: The naturally pleasant smell of fir needle essential oil makes it a wonderful candidate for people suffering from body odor. You know what the fresh smell of a beautiful pine forest smells like; isn’t that better than suffering from offensive body odor? Fir needle essential oil can actually decrease the amount of bacteria in your body that creates that foul odor and leave you smelling fresh as the forest!A Final Word of Warning: Despite the versatility of this particular essential oil, it is important to never consume essential oils internally. Inhalation in the form of aromatherapy is safe in certain situations, but it is always better to speak with an herbalist or an aromatherapist before embarking on this sort of alternative treatment. Also, due to the high concentration of chemicals in these oils, undiluted oils can be very powerful and dangerous when your skin is directly exposed to it.
